Product Manager - Toys (m/f/d)

As Product Manager – Toys, you will be responsible for developing innovative and high-quality children’s products from concept to production. Working closely with suppliers, designers, and cross-functional teams, you will manage all stages of the product lifecycle — ensuring creativity, compliance, and cost-efficiency. Your goal is to launch compelling toy products that meet market trends and regulatory standards.
Profile & Tasks
Profile
  • 2–3 years of experience in product or project management, ideally in toys, gifts, stationery, or children’s consumer products
  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Business Studies, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative thinking and sensitivity for product trends and aesthetics
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Confident in working with external partners (labs, suppliers, factories)
  • Up to date with trends in the toy industry
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Tasks
  • Lead end-to-end product development from concept, design, 3D modelling and costing to testing and production
  • Collaborate with suppliers to meet target production costs
  • Oversee product testing to ensure quality, performance, and uniqueness
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
  • Manage technical product documentation including tags, specs, databases, and customer forms
  • Coordinate with internal teams across Design, Sales, and Production (EU and Asia)
  • Plan and organize development phases, anticipate risks, and resolve issues early
